Four Area Training Days for Administrators completed

Over the past two weeks I have led four Area Training Days for Church Administrators in Ware, Coventry, Woking and Nottingham. Over 170 have attended and been introduced to the concept of customer care appropriate for a church office setting.
The days have been centred on Philippians 2:1-11 and, in particular, verses 3-5. Whereas the motivation for customer service in business organisations is that it make commercial sense, for church staff there is the requirement, as Christian disciples, to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
The mornings have consisted of two main training sessions. The afternoons have offered three options for group work: the devising of a general church customer care policy, Bible study relevant to the theme, and group consultancy work.
